01 What we collect
Your name and email address, used to create and identify your account. Stored securely via Supabase authentication.
Information about the person being cared for — their name, date of birth, blood type, allergies, DNR status, insurance details, and care team contacts — entered by you and shared only with members of your circle.
Medication names, doses, schedules, and administration logs (given, skipped, snoozed). This data is stored in your circle and visible only to circle members.
Care tasks created, claimed, and completed by circle members. Visible only to members of your circle.
Files you upload (insurance cards, medical records, legal documents, etc.). Stored securely in Supabase Storage and accessible only to your circle members.
A log of actions taken by circle members (e.g. "medication given", "task completed"). Used to keep all caregivers informed in real time.
Used to send medication reminders to your device. Notifications are scheduled locally and never used for marketing.

03 Third-party services
CareCircle uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Cloud database and file storage for all circle data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. supabase.com/privacy
App framework used to build and deliver the app. Expo handles push notification delivery infrastructure. expo.dev/privacy
04 Data retention & deletion
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You can sign out at any time from the Profile screen. To request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.
05 Children's privacy
CareCircle is intended for adult caregivers (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The care recipient's information is entered and managed by adult caregivers.
06 Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
